Microsoft internship roles in DX

The Developer Experience and Evangelism (DX) organization plays important role in driving adoption of current and emerging Microsoft technologies. Come and join the team that is responsible for being the first in creating excitement and awareness with students, developers, startups and IT Professionals for our products and assuring Microsoft’s future success.
Currently the DX team are facing very exciting possibilities in evangelizing Windows 10 Universal Apps, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Visual Studio 2015 and IoT amongst others. Being in DX sets you up for a journey which will stay for a life - #DX4life!
DX intern – Technical:
As a Technical DX intern you will support the local Technical Evangelists in driving technical readiness execution across Developer, IT Professional, and Startup and Student audiences.
Build and deliver compelling application demos, technical content and presentations for Microsoft online assets as well as third party events.
Be active on social media, have interest to blog, support online forum engagements and co-develop Proof of Execution for Partners and customers with the Technical Evangelist.
· Passion for technology & business development with strong marketing & business acumen.
· Strong knowledge of technology trends especially around Mobile & Cloud.
· Strong conversational skills and ability to connect and build trust.
· Resilience & ability to handle ambiguity.
· High energy & drive for results.
· Arabic is an advantage.
· A technology degree is an advantage but the role is 70% marketing/business oriented and 30% technical.
· The job role involves:
o Doing online research to build a list of prospective companies that are Cloud partnership candidates for Microsoft.
o Calling prospective companies to pitch the Microsoft partnership program and explain the value proposition.
o Rigorous follow-up to excite prospective companies about the Cloud partnership opportunity and convert leads into qualified opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:- On-track to complete and/or within one year of graduation of a Bachelor’s or a master’s level degree with full time commitment to the program
- With a background in programming (Bachelor of Engineering or BSc. Computer Science/IT) and at least 1 programming language at an advanced level required
- Passion for people, technology, exceptional interpersonal skills and fast learner
- English language & local language fluency
- Should not be a former DX intern
