      Joining our MACH Program will enable you to gain industry-leading training and support, along with practical experience.
      Supported by an experienced mentor, you will develop your business management and technical skills.
      You will also have the opportunity to build up a strong network of contacts with fellow program participants.
      We do this by offering you world-class training designed for executives, a global community in over 60 countries and coaching/leadership development from some of the brightest minds in the industry.
      The MACH program is global in scale and encompasses all of our regions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC), the Americas, Greater China Region and Jap.
       
      We are looking for a talented student who is about to complete his/her academic degree around July 2018 – to join us for a few-months internship and later on, to the next wave of the MACH program.
       
      Account Technology Strategist - Student
       
      The Account Technology Strategist is a virtual Chief Technology Officer for our customers and engages with customer business and IT decision makers to articulate how Microsoft can enable them to achieve their IT and business goals. 
      As an Account Technology Strategist, you will add value by: 
      • Building Trusted Relationships with customer Decision Makers, including their Chief Technology and Information Officers, and decision makers within the customer’s business units.
      • Sharing your broad knowledge of the Microsoft Platform, our competition, and the industry to create a vision of how Microsoft can be the customer’s best partner to take their business to new heights.
      • Gathering and sharing broad insights about customers and the IT Technology landscape with your Microsoft colleagues.
      • Demonstrating technical leadership by working with your team and Microsoft resources to leverage Microsoft Cloud Technologies to drive Customer Success.
      • Promote the long-term growth of Microsoft through the sales, adoption and sustained usage of our cloud solutions by customers.
      • Engaging with customers to identify and generate new business opportunities through industry solutions, leading early stages of opportunity engagements.
      • Working with Microsoft partners to build out Microsoft industry Digital Transformation solution portfolio/map, to comprehensively solve business challenges.
      Microsoft Account Technology Specialists are unique in their:
      • Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Platform and ability to map relevant Microsoft Technologies to the customers’ IT and Business needs and priorities. 
      • Ability to build long-term Trusted Technology Relationships that result in solid and meaningful Strategic Technology conversations.
      • In-depth knowledge of customers’ Technology environments.
      • Ability to ensure that customers benefit from the latest Microsoft Innovations and Solutions.
      • Focus on long-term, sustainable market share and usage growth.
              
      Requirements:
      • BA/MA/MSc/MBA student with 1 semester left until graduation – available for 3 days a week until September 2018.       

      • MBA Candidates – up to 7 years of related experience - Technical sales or consulting position within an Software, IT Consulting or Services company- Advantage.
        BA/MA/Msc – up to 2 years of related experience.
      • Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to be able to impact their adoption and usage.
      • Experience in Consultative Selling is highly desired. 
      • Extensive experience in working within teams is preferred.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with equally good listening skills is preferred.
      • Excellent presentation skills.
      • Experience in Project Management is recommended.
